Isaiah 40:28-31 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. 29 He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. 30 Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; 31 but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

In Honor Of His Name
As the sun comes up
And brightens the day
It gives warmth
To the evergreens
And in the mist of rain
Their is nourishment
In the branches
Of the trees
And with a blanket of snow
Setting on the color of green
It reminds me
Of the winters
Right here
In Arlington
As the wreaths
Comes to a rest
At the headstones
Of a soldiers grave
As they are placed
In honor
Of his name
And if you look close
You will see
The soldiers footprints
Standing their
Beside you
As they begin
To disappear
And fade away
For they
Will always remember
This very day
All because
You carried
A veterans wreath
In honor
Of his name...

Roll to Wreaths Oklahoma Chapter
|
This is our oath...
For I myself will carry a wreath
In memory of my brothers...
And for those that have fallen
That lay here beside him
As I pray out loud
That no headstone
Will ever be forgotten
As we lay a wreath
In honor of those that have fallen
For this here wreath
That I carry today
Has crossed the USA
And for those of you
Who do not know
This here wreath
That you see
Is called
A Veterans Wreath
And it was made
Of ten bouquets
And each bouquet
Has its own significants
With the words of dedication
Written only
From our vets...
As I render a salute
And leave behind
This here wreath
That was made
For a vet...
